On my second trip to Russia and after the wife and I married we took a trip to Suzdal. This is a wonderful city which is part of the Golden Ring of Russia. This Little wooden church is one of the many churches that we saw in while there.

This open area has been a trading center since the 1400’s, I wanted to catch the churches, there are actually three that can be seen from this picture.
Each church is a little different. This one had it’s little green domes, I do remember trying to determine if this was the best place to capture this shot. What do you think?
Walking around your subject can always be interesting, this shot was from the neighborhood, personally I think we sometimes forget that they are a part of who we are. It doesn’t matter if it’s Russia, the US, or elsewhere they are a part of us.
