A spring running through the trees

May 11, 2013

The first time I came upon this spot on the Wahkeena trail I was absolutely stunned. It is hard to take in what you are seeing. It doesn’t really seem possible. It looks so surreal and at the same time very ethereal. I walked around looking for the best place to capture a good visual … More A spring running through the trees

Just a tiny glimpse

May 11, 2013

On the Pacific Crest Trail, about 2 miles in from the trailhead I caught this glimpse of the Columbia Gorge through the trees. I love Peek-a-boo shots.

Have you ever wondered where life will lead you?

May 11, 2013

Sometimes when we are in the midst of our walk in life we have no clue where we are going. Have you been there? Well don’t worry cause if you look around you will see that it’s not always about where you are going as much as where you are at. Maybe just maybe it’s … More Have you ever wondered where life will lead you?

Bathed in “Light”

May 11, 2013

So have you ever been walking or hiking and a bit down the trail, maybe a little out of your line of sight you can see the path illuminated in a ray of light? I’ve often wondered if this is allegory about our relationship with God. We all have a path we walk, we are … More Bathed in “Light”

Pacific Crest Trail, Columbia River Gorge

May 9, 2013

It wasn’t any particular thing I was shooting, what I did see was the colors, the shapes, the textures, the chaos, for reason it spoke of the other side of nature. The things we see everyday, the things that don’t stand out but we see them all the same. Is it Chaos or the order … More Pacific Crest Trail, Columbia River Gorge

Pacific Crest Trail, Washington

May 9, 2013

Well sometimes the littlest things catch my eye like this tiny lavender flower. The way it sits over the leaves, you can almost see it smiling. I almost thought I heard it say thank you when I was done. Now all will see it’s smiling face.

Mt. Saint Helens, Washington

May 9, 2013

This was a totally unexpected find on my trip to go camping up around Mt. Saint Helens. A buddy and I where exploring the area looking for the Pacific Crest Trail head. We had actually just pulled off to the side of the road. I noticed that there was a small waterfall up the creek … More Mt. Saint Helens, Washington

Around the corner from my house

May 3, 2013

When I was living in Vancouver, Wa. I would get up early every morning for my daily walk, I’d walk back behind the Elementary School and then down a path which lead to our local river, I’d walk this path with such delight. This is one of my favorite spots, hope you like it too!

A cast of light

May 1, 2013

We were on a path when I say a cast of light on this berry bush, it just caught my eye
