The first time I came upon this spot on the Wahkeena trail I was absolutely stunned. It is hard to take in what you are seeing. It doesn’t really seem possible. It looks so surreal and at the same time very ethereal. I walked around looking for the best place to capture a good visual … More A spring running through the trees
On the Pacific Crest Trail, about 2 miles in from the trailhead I caught this glimpse of the Columbia Gorge through the trees. I love Peek-a-boo shots.

Well don’t worry cause if you look around you will see that it’s not always about where you are going as much as where you are at. Maybe just maybe it’s … More Have you ever wondered where life will lead you?
So have you ever been walking or hiking and a bit down the trail, maybe a little out of your line of sight you can see the path illuminated in a ray of light? I’ve often wondered if this is allegory about our relationship with God. We all have a path we walk, we are … More Bathed in “Light”

When I was living in Vancouver, Wa. I would get up early every morning for my daily walk, I’d walk back behind the Elementary School and then down a path which lead to our local river, I’d walk this path with such delight. This is one of my favorite spots, hope you like it too!
It was a cool misty morning when I caught this shot. I was taking my daily hike around the lake when the mist allowed me to capture this moment.
We were on a path when I say a cast of light on this berry bush, it just caught my eye

I was actually seeking this shot, something what would fit in a Sepia Photo, one can see the farm and then the Columbia Gorge beyond.
