The Russian Federation is the largest country in the world. The Seven Wonders of Russia are seven of the “coolest” places in Russia, determined by a project organized by the newspaper Izvestia, Radio Mayak, and the television channel Russia.

  2. Thank you for Peterhof! Normally I am an architecture fanatic, but I think this time I equally admire the parks, the Grand Cascade, fountains, summer house, garden pavilion and statues. Mind you, the collection of paintings from across Europe is also wonderful.

    1. I’ve been to Peterhof, it’s simply amazing. Inside and out, and I’ve visited landmarks all over the States and otherwise. It’s right up there at the top of my list.
