The Future is here, Here is in Belarus

In Belarus they use planes with ellipse wings. They say it has a few benefits compared to single wing or double winged plane, when the wing is built like this it can  be reduced in size, it’s firmer because the ellipse form is self sustaining, also it creates air vortexes to the outside edge of the wings which increases the power up to 30% compared to the traditional single fixed wing design.

Not Sure the last Design ever Flew

Flight on a circle. Take-off weight of the plane of 1360 kg. Capacity of the engine 230 л/с. Launch is made from an unprepared site of a field. A ground dry, rough, with biases to 5 °. Running start is carried out “on a hill”. Meteoconditions: air temperature +30°С, a wind counter 3-5 km/s., in air intensive bumpiness.

  1. I can see this idea taking off on aircraft carriers… would save having to design planes with those crazy folding wings for when they’re parked together at the quiet end of the flight deck!
