The Liebster Award

I’ve seen all the kinds of awards here on WordPress and have up to this point not truly understood the reasons for them.

On one hand they don’t make a lot of sense to me and on the other I feel very honored for being nominated for one.

I think each one of us want to be recognized for our work, blogs, and posts.

I know for myself when others read and like my work it gives me pleasure in what I do.

As I continue this journey of blogging I’m learning that it’s important to lift up the work of others.

To help them carry out their visions, desires, and life work that they have chosen to share through their blogs.

With this said I’d like to nominate some of my fellow bloggers who I feel are trying to make a difference.

Liebster Award has few rules that need to be followed:

– Link back the blogger that tagged you
Nominate ten others and answer the questions of the one who tagged you
– Ask ten questions for the bloggers you nominate
– Let your nominees know of their award

My 10 questions from Coach Muller:

1. What makes me smile? Chocolate

  1. Thanks, Steve! I’m so honored to be nominated. I’m not going to post the award on my blog, but how about I answer the questions here?
    1. Same things I do now, only more of it. 2. Same as now, hopefully without turning myself into the leading character of a melodrama (ugh) 3. Their is no hope and life apart from the Word of God. 4. Dark all the way. 5. Northeast Tennessee. 6. So many funny things….when my dad said he understood why they call it Hummingbird Cake–“because it flies backward”, when milk poured out my nose at a restaurant right after my tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, some unexpected blonde moments even though I’m not blonde, etc 7. IF I had a million dollars, I’d probably spend 1/3 on land and 2/3 give away. 8. “Another Book Reiterating What Has Already Been Said: Hey, I Want the Money and Recognition”. 9. Mother Teresa 10. Number 6 because it’s hard to remember all the funny things of life. I find humor in so many everyday situations and laugh frequently, but the funniest? Not sure.
