Mt. Saint Helens, Washington

This was a totally unexpected find on my trip to go camping up around Mt. Saint Helens. A buddy and I where exploring the area looking for the Pacific Crest Trail head. We had actually just pulled off to the side of the road. I noticed that there was a small waterfall up the creek where we were. I remember hiking up the trail. When I rounded the bend in a trail I saw this. It was simply a beautiful waterfall, the ferns, rocks, logs, and trees all seemed to be in the perfect place. Where I captured this shot from was standing on a rock in the middle of the stream. I had to balance myself while hunching really low, it was the shot I wanted. My favorite waterfall, hope you enjoy.
